SmartFlex® STP Peristaltic Hose Pump
The SmartFlex® STP peristaltic pump is an excellent problem solver for abrasive applications or where dry running is an issue. The pumps are volumetrically efficient with a +/- 1% repetitive accuracy. There are no mechanical seals, glands, valves, gear joints or stators to replace. Only the hose is in contact with the fluid. The gentle pumping action is ideal for shear sensitive fluids and heavy slurries.

The SmartFlex STP pump is ideal for the transfer of thin or viscous chemicals. The pump has no mechanical seal to fail, the hose is the only part in contact with the product. The heavy-duty urethane roller design does not require any lubricant. In the event of a hose rupture, the optional leak detector with relay controller will advise of this to the pump control system, advising them to shut down, eliminating the potential of the casing filling with the pumped fluid. The pumps are available with various hose materials and for corrosion resistance, a special HALAR coating for pump casing and cover. The rotor is fully supported by a bearing located directly under the rotor isolating any random forces to the drive mechanism.
The SmartFlex STP series pumps are ideal for low pressure (232 PSI) transfer of mining slurries up to 72% concentration.
